Esther Adler, associate curator in the Department of Drawings and Prints at The Museum of Art, NYC will present in the Kauffman Gallery at Shippensburg University in combination with the Pace Prints exhibit on February 13 at 6:00 p.m.

Past projects by Adler include “Dorothea Rockburne: Drawing Which Makes Itself “, “American Modern: Hopper to O’Keefe” and “Gifted: Collectors and Drawings at MOMA, 1929-1983.”

Adler is the co-author of the book, “Betye Saar: Black Girl’s Window” (2019), author of “Charles White: Black Pope” (2017) and co-editor of the exhibition catalogue “Charles White: A Retrospective” (2018).

Adler joined the museum staff in 2005, and worked as a research assistant, curatorial assistant and assistant curator in the former Drawings Department. She has also worked at the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden as a graduate fellow and the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.
