Andrea Barrick, Social Work & Gerontology, was awarded a Faculty Professional Development Council Grant for the proposal, “The Not So Many Faces of Domestic Violence Victims”. In this study, the researcher will utilize a content analysis to test whether media coverage of domestic violence victims has changed over time and whether minorities are portrayed differently from Caucasians.
