Shippensburg University ROTC has announced its incoming freshman scholarship recipients.

The Shippensburg University Military Science Department has introduced several of its new members on its Facebook page.

Michael Ardise

Michael Ardise attends Toms River High School North in New Jersey. There he was active in lacrosse, bowling and 4-H. He chose Shippensburg because he loves the area and size of the school. Ship’s ROTC program is everything he was looking for.

Anthony Shires

Anthony Shires is already familiar with the Shippensburg area seeing as he attends Cedar Cliff High School. He played football, wrestled and participated in JROTC. He was drawn to Ship for his major program: criminal justice.

Camryn Cerminaro

Camryn Cerminaro is from the Scranton area. She attends Lakeland Junior/Senior High School where she participated in track and cross country. Cerminaro is also a member of National Honor Society. She will major in finance and says she fell in love with Ship the first time she visited campus.

George Drivas

George Drivas played football and participated in track and field at Central York High School. He is coming to Ship to study business. Drivas says he is fond of Ship’s campus and the Raider pride shown by students.

Hannah Culp

Hannah Culp will be coming to Ship from Red Land High School. There she was a swim team captain and member of the orchestra. The reputation of the ROTC program and the location of Ship’s campus were behind her decision to attend Ship. She will be an international studies major.
