The Center for Sustainability Education at Dickinson College and the Center for Land Use and Sustainability at Shippensburg University is inviting the local community to their final virtual Climate Action Planning Series on February 2 at 7:00 p.m. The event will cover how K-12 schools, colleges and universities are demonstrating effective actions for reducing emissions of climate changing pollutants, educating their students about climate risks and solutions, and working with community partners to help make our communities climate resilient and low-carbon. Carlisle Area School District, Shippensburg University and Dickinson College will share what they are doing to lessen climate risks.

Speakers include Tim Horton, Carlisle Area School District; Claire Jantz, Center for Lands Use and Sustainability at Shippensburg University; Neil Leary, Center for Sustainability Education at Dickinson College; Samantha Moyer, Carlisle Area School District (panelist); Sean Cornell, Shippensburg University (panelist). A question and answer session will close the event.
