Dear Campus Community:

It is hard to believe we are almost half-way through this semester. Your willingness to do your part to keep our campus open during the global pandemic this academic year is nothing short of extraordinary. Your flexibility and willingness to commit to the health and well-being of this community has been key to our continued success.

While our campus has been open for in-person coursework and student experiences and our residence halls have been open throughout this academic year, our fall 2021 semester will expand the opportunities that look more like campus prior to the start of the pandemic.

1.       Return academic classes to a more traditional in-person experience.

2.       Residence halls will return to our 2-year residency requirement.

3.       Fall 2021 classes will begin on August 23.

We will continue to follow local, Department of Health, Department of Education, PASSHE, and federal guidance, and will make adjustments accordingly as conditions warrant.

Stay tuned as we shape the plans for fall 2021.

Sincerely,

Tom Ormond

Provost & Vice President for Academic Affairs
