As Ship continues to navigate the COVID-19 pandemic, students are still actively finding ways to serve and make a difference in our local community. The Office of Community Engagement is offering a variety of ways to serve this semester in-person and virtually.

On Friday, March 19, a dozen students put on masks and work gloves and volunteered at Shippesburg Station along the Cumberland Valley Rail Trail. Students cleaned, painted and landscaped to help prepare the popular community space for the spring and summer season.

Are you interested in joining a service project? Check out upcoming in-person service opportunities or our listing of virtual projects.

And during the month of March you can give back by donating unused/unopened hygiene products to Women in Need and the Ship Student Food Pantry location at the Spiritual Center. Donation collection boxes are available at the CUB Info Desk, Old Main by Admissions Office, Grove Hall on the first floor by the computer lab and by MCT 054.
