Share your Ship story during State System Advocacy Week

It’s State System Advocacy Week and the Ship community is taking a virtual stand for the future of Ship and the State System and they need your help. Students, alumni, faculty and staff are encouraged to become virtual advocates and share their Ship impact story with lawmakers, showcasing the positive outcomes of a Shippensburg University education.

As a virtual advocate for Ship, you will educate our lawmakers on the value of the State System and encourage them to support a 2 percent increase in state funding. This increase will ensure the State System can remain affordable and accessible.

How can you help?

• Send an e-mail to a lawmaker here. Share how Ship has impacted you, or past or current students you work with and the positive outcomes created for Pennsylvania.
• Join the conversation on social media. Share a few sentences to your preferred social media platform and tag Ship and use the hashtag #Redesigned4PA. Include a photo that helps tell your story, and consider tagging your local legislator.
